Large and impressive sculpture based on the painting by Disney Legend Charles Boyer (see lithograph #2009) and exact in every detail to that classic painting. All of the details noted in the previous item appear on the sculpture, even has a mirrored surface in which Mickey’s reflection appears. This limited edition was created exclusively for Disneyland and Walt Disney World in 1992. Only 1000 were produced and hand-inked edition number of “586” on back of base, also comes complete with round wood base/stand. Bisque itself is 9.5” dia. and stands 11.5” tall. Underside has original price sticker noting it was issued at $450. This is the first version of the sculpture and by far the most limited and desirable. Later issues were produced in smaller sizes and with different bases and/or made of different material. None compare to this original. N. Mint.
