Item Description
Matching piece to previous item #2094. 13" dia. by 4.25" deep. 1930s. This piece features 2 different images of Mickey, one of him with hands on hips and the other with hands raised in the air. Two different images of Minnie, one of her walking holding umbrella, the other of her looking in a mirror and brushing her hair. Bright silver luster accent around rim and sides. Markings on underside of this piece include incised text "Forme Louise Frie Onnaing/Made in France" along with "Exclusivite Mickey Mouse." Underside rim edge has a very minor 1/8" long glaze sliver flake. Few other tiny traces of wear upon close inspection but near full silver luster remains, images are bold and distinct, appearance is totally bright and glossy. Along with the pitcher, one of the best and rarest items by this famous French company. This is the actual example shown in the Official Price Guide to Disney Collectibles by Ted Hake and comes with COA. As noted in that book, this is one of only about 6 known.
