Item Description
One of 2 totally different boxes produced in the 1930s for Mickey Mouse-endorsed underwear. This box features graphics in rwb and spelled “Undees” while the other box is in bw/red and spelled “Undies.” As noted on one side panel, this box originally contained 1 dozen “Tea-Rose Panties Size 10.” Lid features scene on a farm of Mickey behind microphone and Minnie who look at a young girl showing off her undies which have a small image of Mickey on them. Text reads “Mickey Mouse Undees Make Children Happier.” Additional images on side panels include Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and Donald Duck. Lid has scattered trace of edge wear with some color rubs, one corner split. Lid retains a glossy appearance. Fine. Rare. This is the actual example shown in the Official Price Guide To Disney Collectibles by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
