Item Description
From Ovaltine 1948 with an all-brass base topped by a brass cover featuring his clock face logo with initials “CM” and the hands pointing to midnight. This cover comes off to reveal a raised plastic circle with the initial “R” printed backwards so that when inked with the pad on the cover interior this can be used as an ink stamp. While the ink has dried out, the rest of the ring is in outstanding condition with essentially Mint luster. The 3.75x5.5” mailing envelope comes along. This has numerous but small creases and is overall Fine. The instruction folder is 3.25x4.25” explaining how to use the ring and including an order form for the Captain Midnight Ovaltine shake-up mug. Front cover of folder has 2 small black circles where the ring was tested and a few small creases but overall still VF. One of the very few of these we’ve seen.
