Item Description
1936 ring used as a Cream of Wheat as well as a newspaper premium. Within the Buck Rogers Club literature, the ring is named both “Repeller Ray Ring” and “Supreme Inner Circle Ring.” Each side panel has tiny star accent and text “Buck Rogers Solar Scouts.” Ring top depicts Buck in his rocketship with his arm raised holding a rocket pistol. His image is surrounded by 4 tiny star accents while on the right side is a partial image of a cratered moon with 4 burst lines emanating from it. At the center of the rocketship is a beautiful emerald green faceted stone. A small bit of luster is missing from the top rim plus a little off the narrow top side edge although when viewed straight-on from the top, very little of this is noticeable. There are a couple of other tiny slivers of luster off the lower narrow bands but overall well in excess of 90% original luster remains and the ring displays with tremendous luster and high gloss. The emerald green stone is deeply colored and sparkles nicely. Our last example in similar condition well exceeded $2,000. This example opens extremely conservatively.
