We have also seen a ring once on a jobber’s store card with title “Radio Patrol Ring.” Ring has a bright brass finish with adjustable bands. Each ring side displays brass lightning bolts against black enamel bkg. paint. Ring top has high relief with slanted sides and a working compass under glass at top center. Various segments of the ring feature rocket control panel buttons as well as several different lightning bolt designs. The brass finish on this example is exceptionally bright. The left and right lightning bolt accents on the sides each have about 50% black paint surrounding them but rather than black paint being worn off, we think the black paint present is all that was applied in manufacturing. Red accents on the ring top are essentially 100% complete. A gorgeous example with working compass. There have been multiple sales exceeding $1,000.
