Item Description
This 1938 brass ring with adjustable bands was issued by radio program sponsor Pepsodent. Top has very high relief leopard head with open mouth displaying fangs. The ring bands have geometric designs with a small triangular cut-out on each side where they meet at the top. Ring originally had a thin layer of silver luster which is normally gone from most examples. While the luster on this example is off the narrow bands, the top third of the ring including its entire top featuring the text and high relief leopard head still retains nearly all the original silvering intact. Our photo may not demonstrate the silvering adequately as since the photo was taken we gave it a wipe to remove years of tarnish and the result is indeed full silver luster across the entire top of the piece. Exc. and quite rare in this condition. See following rare Frank Buck pin.
