Original box marked “Children’s Tea Set” and features generic art of girls having a tea party, Scottie dog begs at the table. On side panel marked with information for this set “340/pink.” Lid has a pair of 2” side panel splits. Fine. Largest piece of the set is 8x10” tray featuring image of Geppetto painting Pinocchio’s hat. Pinocchio looks up at him and Figaro sits at his side. Three 4” dia. plates feature additional image of Geppetto and Pinocchio. Three 2.5” dia. saucers feature Cleo and Figaro. The three tea cups, creamer and sugar are all 1” tall and feature character images of Pinocchio, Jiminy Cricket, Figaro, Blue Fairy. Final item is 2” tall tea pot with lid that has different character images of Pinocchio, Jiminy Cricket, Figaro and Geppetto. Set has slight trace of aging as boxed but is unused old store stock. Overall Exc. and as nice as these tin tea sets come. Rare in this condition and as boxed.
