Item Description
Lot of three, all from 1940. Both record sets come in 10x12” thick cardboard covers and contain 78-rpm records. Both covers open like a book and feature artwork and photos. First is Decca set No. 110. Four records. Cliff Edwards with Victor Young and his orchestra and the Ken Darby Singers. Same art appears on front/back, inside front has additional character images while inside back includes photos of the musicians on this set. Records show typical lt. wear from use but Fine. Cover has moderate aging. Fine. This set comes with 5.5x8.5” glossy paper promo folder promoting set No. 110, its songs and musicians. Moderate aging and scattered edge wear. Fine. Second is RCA Victor Set P18. This is the first issue with die-cut front cover and choice full color illustrations on inside covers and each individual bound-in sleeve (these features do not appear on the second pressing issued later in 1940). Choice color film scenes throughout along with text. Three record set featuring “The Original Soundtrack Of Pinocchio.” Also with typical general wear but overall cover and records are Fine.
