1.75x7” wooden thermometer advertising “Blue Coal - America’s Finest Anthracite.” c. 1930s. “Batchelder Whittemore” name at top. Functioning thermometer still attached with original hang tab on back. Nice advertising for company that sponsored The Shadow radio show at this time. Trace of oxidation to metal attachments and lt. wear to painted wood. VF- overall. Scarce.
