Lot of two. First is 14x22.25”. Paper. Great graphic design of music staff with oval portraits of McKinley and Roosevelt on musical notes. Poster is promoting “The Greatest Campaign Song Of The Day.” The song “Great Combination” was published by the Traverse Music Co./Chicago. Back of poster has song lyrics on left side. Right side has large facsimile letter from “Republican National Committee” dated September 21, 1900. Addressed to “Miss Cora Dale/Chicago Illinois.” It reads “The National Committee Takes Pleasure In Giving Its Approval Of Your Song ‘Great Combination.’ The Music Is Attractive, And Well Suited For The Use Of Campaign Glee Clubs. The Poster, Too, Is Striking In Its Appearance. We trust It May Meet With The Success It Deserves.” Vertical center crease likely as issued. Trace of aging at top and bottom left margins. Overall poster is clean and extremely Fine. Comes with 10.25x13.5”, 6-page sheet music dated 1900. Music is essentially Mint and easy to dance to. From the Morry Greener Collection.
