Item Description
Five 8" dia., two-sided records with 9x9" paper envelope.  Envelope explains "Excerpts From Great Speeches By Franklin Delano Roosevelt/Set Of Five/8" Double Faced/Phonographic Records (flexible type)/Contents/Fireside Chat On Defense/December 29, 1940/Report Of Nazi Attack/October 27, 1941/Declaration Of War/December 8, 1941/State of the Union/January 6, 1942/D-Day Prayer/June 6, 1944."  Each record is printed with various photos of FDR and headlines of the day.  Each is printed in various bright accent colors on each side.  Each record is titled with "Excerpts From A Speech By Franklin Delano Roosevelt" with speech title and original date.  Each also reads "Copyright  1945 by National Voice Library, Box 788, Hollywood, Ca."  All of the records appear to be Exc. and show very little if any use.  Each record also has two holes as made.  All records are in Exc. condition.  Envelope is very worn and torn, but largely complete and could be restored.  An interesting and historic lot
