Item Description
3.25x5” stiff card with printed text “SDS National Convention/MSU/June 9-15/Mass Media.” To this the inked name of the photo journalism agency “Black Star” has been added. There is also an inked “64” at upper right but this seems to be related to the number of attending media people rather than a year as the date of June 9-15 matches the national convention held in 1968 at Michigan State University in East Lansing. Over 800 activists attended. Card has small creases top center plus 7 tiny pinholes from being worn. Displays cleanly and a very limited issue. Rarer than most of the group’s buttons.
