12.5x25” card stock. The Peace and Freedom Party was founded June, 1967 and this poster from December was part of the successful massive petition effort to get the P.F.P. on the California ballot in Jan., 1968. The poster art is by “Salas ’67.” Five small tack holes in corners and small crease on upper two corners. Other than uppermost and lower margins, the text reads “Blossom/Special/Peace and Freedom Party Performances/Friday & Saturday – December 29 & 30/Admission Free/To All Who Register At The Door/A Play By Michael McClure/Directed By William Tara/Also/The Philosopher’s Stone/A Mime Play By Antonin Artaud/Straight Theater-1702 Haight/Dec. 15, 16, 17, 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30/Jan. 4, 5, 6-San Francisco.” Listings on bottom of various outlets for ticket sales.
