9” tall with scissor movements, this interesting mechanical representation shows the classic comedy duo of Laurel & Hardy. When legs are moved, heads alternately bob up and down while arms tip bowler hats. c. late 1920s. Spanish ad text for restaurant at lower left below Hardy with “Cvellar” artist name. Oxidation to metal attachments and lt. surface wear. Fine.
