Item Description
6x9.5” original thin cardboard envelope with image of Charlie Chaplin at left holding cane plus “The Amazing Dancing Charlie Illusion – Can Be Made To Dance On Floor, Table Or Chair At Your Command” text. Contains 12.5” tall die-cut stiff paper figure of Charlie Chaplin in his famous Little Tramp persona. Waist and knees each have metal rivet allowing him to dance around. Comes with 4-7/8x7-1/8” bw instruction sheet with text showing how to perform various tricks with novelty. English. c. 1930s. Envelope shows wear with some corner tip wear and creasing. Fine+. Instruction sheet has been folded as issued with 1” tear at fold and some margin wear. Fine-. Chaplin figure has a few creases mostly to arms and hair but displays Exc. Nice design. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Ted Hake & Tom Tumbusch.
