Item Description
1.25” with gold text surrounding raised dome portrait at center. Paint has numerous but very tiny marks and is largely complete. The reverse shaft of the inserted horizontal original pin snapped off but there is a pin shaft replacement that is workable. Reverse of the piece is silver luster tin with about 30% oxidation and embossed lettering “American/Tinplate/Made By/Norton Bros. Chicago.” One of the very few pre-1916 era lithographed tin badges.
