Auction #201 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1408 in auction 201
Item Description
4-1/8” tall with brass plated white metal. Reverse has a bar for a ribbon no longer present along with name of maker W&H. Front of the piece has celluloid insert on hanger bar reading “McKinley Camp No. 8.” Below is a celluloid panel inscribed “Member.” At the center of the large suspended medallion is a 1” dia. real photo of McKinley without dot pattern. There is a fine line horizontally crossing his chin which is an air mark so in certain light angles, a little air shows on the lower half of the celluloid. However, there is no stain and the luster on the piece remains clean and Exc. Only example we’ve seen.
