Auction #201 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1408 in auction 201
Item Description
1.25” listed as Hake #414. Also see matching but larger McKinley #259. This gorgeous sepia features Bryan seated in an ornate chair staring straight at the camera. Beautiful typography accented by 5 scroll designs. On the reverse there is a tiny 1/8” spot where the cello is not trapped under the collet but this is not at all visible on the rim when viewed directly from the front. Button is complete with backpaper of real photo button specialist “Gowdy” of “Coldwater, Michigan.” Cello has only the most trivial wear in reflected light. Button displays essentially Mint. Rare.
