9x12” stiff paper folder for world welterweight championship fight held June 20, 1980 in Montreal, Canada. Folder contains 17 one-sided 8.5x11” pages of promotional ideas from Murray Goodman Associates public relations firm in New York sent to Badk, Inc. Comes with additional 7x11” slick paper folded poster which opens to 13.75x22” featuring same image as folder front with Leonard and Duran facing off. This press kit was for the first of 3 fights between the 2, and promoted as possibly being bigger than Ali-Frazier fights. Duran won this one by unanimous decision. Folder has lt. creasing around edges. Fine. Contents VF/Exc. Nice group for a legendary fight.
