10x12.5x7/8” deep box has choice lid art by P.R. Harper showing smiling Lindbergh in flight suit with “Spirit Of St. Louis” plane in bkg. with crowd. Completed puzzle measures 9.25x12” repeating lid cover art. Puzzle is two-sided and reverse side features painting by Fletcher Cransom of President Lincoln giving a speech. Madmar Quality Co. Utica, NY #500. c. late 1920s. Box lid and bottom have seam splits at 3 corners with scattered general wear but image area on top is Fine. Puzzle has trace of tiny wear around edges. VF. overall.
