Auction #201 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1408 in auction 201
Item Description
Clipped signature of famed aviatrix by interviewer and mounted on scrapbook page with photo of Earhart clipping plus a printed interview and signature on 1-5/8x5” paper. Sheet is 7.5x10.5” overall with 3 tiny margin tears .25” to .75” plus 8 very tiny tears at left edge where taken from scrapbook. Very st. moisture stain .75” deep by 3” long in upper left corner. Would frame beautifully with just minor age tone as expected. Interviewer’s inked note at center reads “Oct. 18, 1933.” In interview, Earhart predicts “Regular Trans-Atlantic Transportation” and says in future “I Think That Eventually Planes Will Be Safer Than Trains Or Cars.” Overall Fine with strong signature.
