Item Description
4.5x10.25x5.5" tall painted and glazed ceramic cookie jar designed like a school bus comes in the original box which has illustrated paper label on the lid. By Dan Brechner © 1961. Box has original tape residue stains on bottom edge of lid, crayoned date along left edges, right side panel has crayoned original store price. Box still tight and VF, contains the original straw packing material. The cookie jar is decorated w/decals at all windows showing different Disney characters along w/decals for "Walt Disney/Cookie Bus" on each side. Goofy is depicted as the bus driver while other characters are Mickey and his nephews, Donald and his nephews, Bambi, Thumper, Dumbo, Alice and Ludwig. Back of bus has license plate reading "Disneyland U.S.A." Underside is complete w/Brechner foil sticker. Essentially Mint as issued. First boxed example we've ever offered.
