Item Description
Clear plastic badge holder with reverse pin is 2.25x3.5” and holds slightly smaller 2x3” card. Printed text reads “Senator John F. Kennedy’s National Conference On Constitutional Rights And American Freedom.” Typed inscription is “B.H. Nelson, Jr./N.J. Students For Kennedy.” This conference was held in New York City on Oct. 12, 1960 and JFK addressed the group. Also in attendance were Senator Humphrey, Mrs. Roosevelt, Senator Lehman, Mayor Wagner, Governor Herriman, Senator Morse and several other governors and senators. The full text of Kennedy’s remarks can be found on the internet at: www.jfklibrary.org. Small ripple in the plastic caused by the reverse bar pin. The blank back of the card has a small ink line. Exc. and a very limited issue for single day event.
