Auction #201 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1408 in auction 201
Item Description
1.75” with LBJ showing his appendectomy scar which is in the shape of Vietnam. Levine did a series of political cartoons for publication in “New York Review” and that copyright information appears on the curl but in exceedingly tiny text. Most recent date of the copyright is 1966 and the button has tiny designation “A-7.” This is one of the scarcest buttons in the series. While button displays well, on the extreme top edge there is a 1/16” long hairline cut. See following 2 related items. From the Morry Greener Collection.
