This 3” button is a mate to Hake: Ford #2007. A great design with cartoon donkey at center smiling in the Carter style and showing his large teeth while he rests a horseshoe-covered foot around each shoulder of Carter and Mondale. Button has very trivial surface wear just barely showing in reflected light although in addition there is a pinpoint nick on extreme right edge and this has had a dot of blue ink added to hide the white mark. The ink actually serves its purpose very well and the button displays essentially Mint. Reverse is complete with the silver on blue foil sticker from the issuer “Barish Buttons/Las Vegas, Nev.” Only our second example. From the Morry Greener Collection.
