Item Description
Button pictures the “Washington, D.C. Memorial” dedicated to a major figure of the American Labor Movement who organized and served as president of the AF of L. This monument was dedicated in 1933 by President Roosevelt who gave a speech talking about his friendship with the labor organizer. The button itself is essentially Mint and has backpaper by Baltimore firm “Jonvan Mfg. Co.” with spring pin holding rwb flag ribbon although this has a .5” split at the right center. Rare.
