Item Description
9.5x11.5” metallic silver flocked hardcover script for a 1969 tribute to Vaudeville hosted by Carl Reiner. Produced by Laugh-In producer George Schlatter and cast members included Goldie Hawn, Bobby Darin and Henny Youngman. This was Joseph Natalie’s personal copy as noted on front cover. Special was to be aired on NBC as a special but Goldie Hawn appeared in skimpy dress and proceeded to perform a striptease, causing the special to be cancelled. Title page notes this is “Revision #2” and is dated Jul. 23, 1969. Special was to air Nov. 24, 1969. Typed script is Exc. Title and Natalie name were applied to cover with stickers and show extensive dust soiling underneath as would be expected with this type of application. Lt. traces of wear but VF/Exc. overall. Great binding by Hollywood Laminating & Bookbinding.
