Item Description
Five items. Printed letter on “American League Baseball Club of Chicago” letterhead with facsimile signature of owner Bill Feeck explains to recipient that tickets were selected in a drawing by lot conducted by 10 disinterested prominent Chicago men, not on a first come, first served basis. Letter has folds as mailed with tiny tear near top where pin-back button was placed. Pair of tickets are each 2.25x4-3/16” for Game 6, upper Grandstand, each with individual price of $7.20. Stubs have been removed as used. Exc. Schedule booklet is 2.25x4” softcover with game dates ranging from April 9th to Sept. 27th. Exc. Button is 1-3/8” dia. with text “American League Champs/Chicago White Sox World Series 1959” with cartoon at lower left of player saying “Go-Go.” A few tiny nicks but overall glossy and VF. Nice group for series game which Dodgers won 4-2.
