12x12.5” thick artboard has 6-7/8” dia. image area in center with monochrome original art of Uncle Sam smiling at viewer. ©1940 J.O. Lashar with text around rim top “Royalties On This Button Donated To Amer. Red Cross.” Button was produced. Trace of lt. dust soil, image area has circular pencil lines around rim used to produce lettering. Three paste-up Photostat stars are missing leaving lt. glue stain. One is loose. Center painting Exc. Unique. From the Parisian Novelty Co. of Chicago archives. Wonderful image.
