c. early 1900s. 8.25x14.25x1” deep thin cardboard box. Lid has lt. dust soil, side panels a bit pulled out with age, bottom corner seams are split. Fine. Box has choice lid graphics of Nemo waking up from slumber with dream clouds above his head containing other characters from famous Winsor McCay comic strip including the Princess, Doctor Pill, Flip and The Imp. Game begins at “Slumberland” with the object being to reach “Wake Up.” Contents include 2.5x3-5/8” thin die-cut cardboard spinner, gameboard and 4 wooden playing pieces. Spinner card has lt. color rubs from metal spinner, lower right corner has lt. crease. Fine. Playing surface has lt. dust soil. VF. Game has no maker or copyright info. Choice lid graphics based on one of the most popular comic strip characters in history.
