7/8x2.75x3-5/8” fabric-covered die-cut box with company logo on one side and 6-of-diamonds card on reverse side with image of Mt. Shasta contains 50 cards, souvenir booklet explaining card images. Salad bowl card and contact bridge score card. Front side of cards each have graphics of Southern Pacific Lines “Daylight” train going through palm tree-lined desert with mission nearby. c. late 1930s. Face of cards have nice photos, all different, including cactus in Apache Trail, Az. San Jacinto Plaza in El Paso, Mission Dolores in San Francisco, Yosemite Falls, Fisherman’s Wharf, Chinatown San Francisco, El Capitan, Hotel DelMonte, Mount Shasta, Pebble Beach and San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. Deck also includes one Joker card. Box has trace of lt. dust soil. VF. Booklet has lt. dust soil and a few lt. creases. Fine. Cards are Exc. Nicely designed.
