Item Description
1.5x14x2.75" tall toy w/built-in key comes in box nicely illustrated on all panels. c. 1955. Box wear includes some large but lt. areas of moisture staining, mostly to the top panel, front panel has 2" split just left of center. Despite wear, box remains tight and colors are strong. VG. The toy consists of hard plastic horse-drawn stagecoach and three tin litho cars. First is boxcar featuring images of Davy and "Red Stick Last Of The Creek Chiefs" on sides while on top is map of "The Creek Indian Territory." Second boxcar features "Gen'l Jackson's Tennessee Volunteers." Third unit is a "chuck wagon" featuring Davy's name, coonskin cap and image in back of frontiersman singing and playing a guitar. Toy works and travels around in an erratic fashion as the cars swing about. Tin cars have a few minor scattered paint marks but toy remains N. Mint.
