13x13x3.5" deep box contains nice quality bag by National Leather Mfg. Co. Inc. c. 1955. Box notes it can be used as a "School Bag/Utility Bag/Travel Bag." Lid includes image of Fess Parker as Davy on top and all four side panels. Moderate scattered aging, some dust soiling and color rub along edges to lid, the cardboard bottom has scattered age spotting but remains tight and Fine. The bag is canvas w/vinyl trim including fringes around three front sides, front flap is stiff embossed leatherette. Front flap has additional diecut star and fringe attachment along w/buckle. Has attached adjustable shoulder strap. The front flap features Davy holding pistol, in the bkg. is "Frontierland." Slightest aging as boxed over the years but unused and N. Mint. First boxed example we've offered.
