Item Description
c. 1950. 12.5” tall overall, nicely detailed polished wood in design of well-dressed smiling salesman with pencil in his coat pocket. He carries 2x3” solid wood suitcase which has “Grand Union Tea Co.Tea Check” card attached on each side with address of companys headquarters in Brooklyn as well as local York, PA store address. Text at bottom “To Be Redeemed By Customer Only.” Figure may have been issued as a salesmen’s award. Slightest trace of wear. Exc. appearance. High quality and nice design. First we’ve seen in our 44 years.
