First is 11x15.5" Vol. 1 #3 issue of "The Disneyland News" from Sept. 1955 (Disneyland opened in July of that year). 20-page newspaper features different articles and stories pertaining to Disneyland w/many photos throughout. Walt appears on one page, front cover headlines read "One Million People See Disneyland." Second story is about Vice President Nixon and his family visiting Disneyland and includes photo of them along w/Fess Parker. This issue is lightly tanned and has scattered wear as folded. Fine. Second item is "Disneyland 1st Anniversary Souvenir Pictorial" publication, complete w/4x10.5" mailing envelope. © 1956. Envelope has overall repeated design of castle, lightly tanned but Fine. Publication is on glossy paper 11x14". Has 16 pages w/cover and center spread in full color, rest is bw. Filled w/great photos and illustrations. Front cover features Walt. Inside pages are devoted to specific areas, center spread features illustrations of new attractions, one page of photos of celebrities attending Disneyland, etc. Back cover is a map. Lt. wear and aging as originally folded but Fine. Third item is 6x9" "Disneyland Two Part Community Song Book." By Hanson Publications Inc. © 1955. Has 32 pages in bw featuring words and music for "15 Selected Songs For Fun And Recreation From Walt Disney Productions Davy Crockett, Peter Pan, Cinderella, Lady And The Tramp, Alice In Wonderland, Robin Hood." Cover has trace of dust soiling, lt. edge wear, small penciled number at top edge but Fine. Contents are VF to Exc. Nice lot from the first years of Disneyland.
