Item Description
9.25x15" cardboard magic slate, complete w/outer cardboard display cover w/diecut design. 1950s by Strathmore. The outer cover depicts Mickey, Goofy and Donald's nephews in front of a TV set which has diecut "screen" to reveal the top of the magic slate. This outer cover has lt. trace of margin aging but VF and rarely found still covering the slate as it was issued. The top of the slate also features TV set w/diecut screen and has attached dial which you can use to "change channel." This features images of Mickey, Donald's nephews, Peter Pan, Jiminy Cricket and Pluto. Many other characters are depicted around the TV and running down the right side of the slate. Some of these characters include Dumbo, Snow White, Little Hiawatha, Lady and The Tramp, Donald holding "Disneyland" flag, others. Complete w/wood stylus. The thin inner plastic sheet has tanned w/age and has minor 1/8" edge flake but slate remains unused w/just st. aging as packaged. Exc.
