Item Description
9.5” tall by 13” wide ©1936 John Dille Co. Fabric bag has leather-wrapped metal handle, leather straps and metal buckles. Center flap on bag front reads “Buck Rogers – Wilma Deering.” Lower corners have nice images of Buck on right and Wilma on left. Top left corner has image of attack ship and upper right has image of pistol. Upper portion has external leather pencil pocket. Flattened with obvious wear around edges, not affecting images of Buck or Wilma or text. Original owner’s name in ink near bottom of front. VG/Fine. Images VF. Offered by Cream of Wheat for 70¢ plus a coupon. Except for a complete uniform, this item ties for the second most costly of items being offered at that time.
