Item Description
4-7/8x5x7.5” tall box has different graphics on all 4 sides of fairy tale characters including Old King Cole, Three Little Pigs chasing Wolf and minstrels playing violins. Inside flap has box maker logo Lebanon Paper Box Co. Lebanon, PA. Box has tiny trace of wear around edges and corner tips. Trace of lt. aging. Lid top has a few lt. handling creases. Fine/VF. Contains complete set of 4 cardboard nesting blocks. Sizes range from 2.5” square to 4x4.75x7-1/8” tall. Each has different graphics on all 5 sides with metal ball in top which can be depressed making squeaking noise. Characters include those shown on lid, white rabbit, pig, dog, chicken, bear with baby bear, clown monkey, clown rabbit painting bear, penguin with fish, calico horse being trained by bird, tiger eating lollipop, mouse boxing elephant and cow jumping over moon. All blocks are working. Metal balls in tops have lt. aging, o/w working and Exc. Bright color and great designs. Designer Tom Lamb (1896-1988) was an inventor, designer, illustrator and cartoonist. He created a wide range of “Kiddyland” products. Wonderful graphics.
