2.5x2.5x8.5" tall tin litho toy w/built-in key comes in box w/name "B.O. Plenty" printed on each side panel. Box is missing two flaps on top but remains solid and well shaped. Toy depicts B.O. holding Sparkle Plenty in one hand and a present marked "For Baby Sparkle" in the other. His name appears on the back of his vest. Has separate tin hat attached to head. Toy works and when wound, figure rocks back and forth as the hat tips up and down. Late 1930s. Back of trousers has text "By Permission Of Famous Artists Syndicate © Chicago Tribune." Marx Toys logo appears below name on back. A few scattered scuffs on shoes but rest of color remains bright, clean and Exc.
