5x6.75" original envelope w/paper mailing label and return address to "Captain Midnight." Secret Squadron logo appears on envelope worn and aged, VG. Kit includes 4.5x6" color "Manual And Code Book" w/12 pages. Text below image of Captain Midnight reads "Secret/To Be Read By Secret Squadron Members Only." Includes message from Captain Midnight/Secret Squadron Headquarters, The Pledge of The Secret Squadron, How To Use The Decoder Badge, Secret Squadron Signals, Recipe for Ovaltine 'Tut Special'" and instructions on how to become a Flight Commander. Dot to dot puzzle page neatly done in ink. Otherwise manual is unused and Exc. Also includes 5x6.25" folded letter from "Secret Squadron Headquarters" signed by "Captain Midnight." Contents of letter reinforces use of Ovaltine every day. Moderate aging and handling wear w/small .5" tear on center fold. Next is 2.5x3.75" membership card signed by member. General light wear, Fine. Last is 1.75" Secret Squadron badge/decoder. Comes w/4-3/8x6" cut-out piece of corrugated cardboard packaging originally issued with this premium to prevent badge from being crushed during mailing. 1/16x.5" luster loss on front of badge o/w Exc. Rare as complete kit.
