Item Description
5x6.75" slightly textured paper eight-page album, complete w/loose set of four 3x4" stamp blocks for mounting in the album. Each block has four different stamps for a total of 16 featuring aviation hero portraits in white plus additional single color that varies from stamp to stamp. Album pages are printed for proper mounting of the stamps above biography caption for each pictured individual. Album front cover has dramatic purple/blw design. Back cover has blw night scene art of his aircraft circling a clock tower showing midnight time. 1939 premium by Skelly Oil. Stamps include Frank Hawks, Maj. Doolittle, Adm. Byrd, Amelia Earhart, The Wright Brothers, others. N. Mint album w/Mint stamp sheets.
