Item Description
2.75x3-3/8x10.25” tall overall with cello figures mounted on tin litho base with wheels and built-in key.1930s. Japan. Wonderful design with young ringmaster holding cane standing in front of barrel which has elephant standing on top with attached metal rod at top holding umbrella with hanging balls. When wound, umbrella spins around and balls flare out and wheels roll. Glue repair to elephant where attached to barrel. Missing 1 cello string piece with balls. One addditional string is missing one spacer and one ball. Trace of lt. aging. Wheels have lt. wear. Overall Fine. Elaborate design and working.
