Item Description
Pair of 2” long elaborate diamond rhinestone and silver luster metal dangling clip earrings personally owned and worn by the blonde bombshell Marilyn Monroe. Clip-on earrings are fully dimensional and similar in style to the many dangling earrings that Monroe wore during her career. Comes with COA signed by Lynn Pupello, the founder of the Harvard Film Society stating that “My Friend, Marilyn, Gave Me These When She Moved To L.A. In The Middle Of 1961.” COA goes on to state that earrings were sold as part of the “Help For American Indians” memorabilia sale. Also comes with hand-written letter from Pupello on “Harvard Film Society” letterhead to recipient stating “These Earrings Are The Best M.M. Ever Had.” Also comes with letter of provenance from renowned dealer Corine D’Authreau. Perfect pair of earrings capturing the glitz and glam of the one and only Marilyn Monroe. Diamonds may be a girl’s best friend, but these rhinestone earrings are a close second. Comes with Hake's COA. The photo shown is for catalog purposes only and shows Marilyn wearing similar style earrings, but not this exact pair.
