Item numbers 1 through 1408 in auction 201
Item Description
1.75” choice color button-like celluloid fastened to spring clip reads “Molassine" plus their address in London. The emblem is finely detailed including tiny inscriptions on the steer horns reading “’Molassine’ Horse Food/’Molassine’ Cattle Food” plus the company name in tiny letters on the steer’s nose ring. Additional tiny text on the ribbon designs read “Dairy And Pig Meal/Calf Meal & Lamb Food.” Celluloid has light spotting around its perimeter but central area remains clean and beautiful. Trivial oxidation on the metal clip which bears the word “Spencerian” across its uppermost surface. Rare.
