Item Description
Largest at 5.25” tall has enamel “Delegate” panel on the hanger with red rim suspending 2 segments with middle one showing seal of the city of Newberg and reading “N.Y. State Firemen’s Ass’n.” Below is beautiful color oval celluloid of city scene set on silvered metal with surrounding text “40th Annual Convention/Newberg, N.Y. Aug. 20-23, 1912.” Dark red ribbon showed darker stain mark from old adhesive vast majority of which we have been able to remove. Otherwise, just lt. general wear and with name of maker W&H on reverse. Second piece is 4.25” tall with top panel showing hydrant and hose reading “Delegate.” Middle panel shows early horse-drawn hose truck with text “W.N.Y. Second Annual Convention V.F.A.” Larger bottom segment shows building with crossed axes and pikes reading “Springville, N.Y. July 25-26-1911.” Reverse has stamp of maker W&H. N. Mint finish. Pair.
