Item Description
The smaller, at 3.5” tall, has hanger reading “Souvenir/Old Home Week/Firemen’s Day.” Ornate metal scene below includes hydrants, hose and horse team pulling a wagon with smaller text surrounding “Aug. 12, 1910 Franklin, Pa.” Made by W&H and essentially Mint. Larger piece at 4-7/8” is brass with some color accenting plus black and white enamel paint. Top hanger reads “Pennsylvania State Firemen’s Convention Harrisburg 1914.” Middle panel reads “General Committee Firemen’s Union.” Lower piece inscribed “Harrisburg” at center showing capitol dome plus tiny surrounding text “Friendship, Hope, Citizen, Washington, Mt. Vernon, Paxton, Good Will, Mount Pleasant, Susquehanna, Reily, Shamrock, Allison, Camp Curtain, Royal.” Minor tarnish wear, mostly on the blank reverse which includes maker’s name W&H. Pair.
