Item Description
2-9/16” with golf ball design at center along with designated position of “Staff” and serial number “No. 110.” Rim text designates the 65th open held at the Bellerive Country Club. This club started in 1897 as the St. Louis Field Club with nine holes. In 1959 Robert Trent Jones designed a new course and in 1965 it became the youngest course to host a U.S. Open. Gary Player won the event, the first foreigner since Tell Ray in 1920. The event was also the first final round played on a Sunday and the first to be televised in color. Extremely rare limited issue and in essentially Mint condition.
