5-7/8x8.5” hardcover with 280 pages in original dust jacket. First edition, second printing of Hunter S. Thompson’s first book printed by Random House ©1967. Book details Thompson’s personal submergence in the Hell’s Angels motorcycle gang culture and dust jacket features bw photo of back of “Hell’s Angels North Cal.” member’s jacket. Dust jacket shows wear at top and bottom margins and along spine with small .25” tears. Dust jacket is unclipped. VG/Fine. Book itself has great foil embossed image of motorcycle rider on front cover and is Exc. overall. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
