Item Description
This ring was used as Captain Midnight Ovaltine premium in 1942. This is the 1945 issue by Kix. We’ve put it in the Lone Ranger section as most likely it was among the first Kix premiums to be offered on the Lone Ranger radio show. 3x4.5” mailer with “General Mills, Inc.” return address. Has text at left “Here’s Your Kix Secret-Compartment Pilot’s Ring!” The envelope is rare, our third seen. Envelope has raised bump where ring laid for years but extremely clean. VF. Slide-off ring top has 35% brown area on 65% full luster. Ring frame and base have about 90% luster. Overall Near VF. From the Joe Gura Premium Collection.
